  • Forensic Chemistry
  • Forensic Psychology
  • Quality Assurance and Standards
  • Crime Scene Investigation

To organize scientific conferences and workshops, including at least one national conference annually, with efforts to invite participation from national and international experts.

To conduct collaborative exercises and proficiency tests, including participation in international proficiency testing programs.

To initiate and support research and development projects, encouraging collaboration with researchers and institutions across India.

To develop and disseminate best practice manuals, recommendations, and guidelines that reflect state-of-the-art forensic methodologies and align with recognized national and international standards.

To promote ethical practices in forensic science, including the establishment of a code of ethics that reflects core professional and scientific values.

To provide a platform for knowledge sharing among forensic professionals and to facilitate collaborative programs with national and international forensic institutions.

To collaborate with academic institutions in promoting forensic science education and research, including curriculum development aligned with global best practices.

To liaise with government agencies and relevant stakeholders to advocate for the advancement of forensic science in India, guided by evidence-based practices and international benchmarks.

To establish and maintain an official website that serves as a communication platform for members and the public, featuring collaboration opportunities, professional resources, and updates.

To offer continuing professional development opportunities through workshops, seminars, and training programs conducted by national and international experts.

To establish mentorship programs for early-career forensic scientists, facilitating guidance and support from experienced professionals across the country.

To promote public awareness of forensic science and its vital role in the justice system, emphasizing scientific rigor, transparency, and ethical conduct.

To actively seek membership and participation in national and international forensic science organizations to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
